The Wenceslas 504 apartment is a 2 rooms apartment of 45 sq.m. on the 4th floor of a historical 19 century building. The apartment is very central, right at the Wenceslas Square, within easy walking distance from the Old Town Square and the major sights.
Wenceslas apartment 504 has 2 rooms: one bedroom and a large living room set up as bedroom, with kitchen corner (and with cable TV). There are 2 single beds in the first room and a double bed in the second room (which can be changed to singles if required); an extra bed can be added in the second room and therefore the apartment would be suitable for up to 5 persons. The apartment also features a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge, oven with cooker, kettle, microwave and a private bathroom.
Wenceslas 504 apartment is an attic flat: it is on the fourth floor of the building and being so high up the street level it is quieter than most apartments in the area. The building has an elevator until the third floor, and there are a few more stairs to the fourth floor.
The building complex is guarded 24 hours a day; it has an underground garage (14 euros a day, not included in the price of accommodation) and reception. Wenceslas Square is a broad commercial center of Prague lined with elegant shops and restaurants, and with select night clubs. Wenceslas is better known for being the heart of Prague nightlife, although it stands out also for its history and his beauty.
New Town, which is adjacent to Old Town on the eastern bank of the Vltava, flourished in the 18 th century as an industrial and commercial center. The heart of the New Town is without doubt Wenceslass Square (or Vaclavske Namesti), knows both as a center of commerce and nightlife. Wenceslas Square is actually a boulevard, not a square. Payment:
The payment of remaining balance can be done on arrival in cash (directly in euros or in CZK) or by credit card. The price in euro is fixed, as agreed with you at the time of the booking. The rate in CZK depends on the bank exchange rate available on the day of your arrival.
Security deposit: 50 euros for small groups, 200 euros for large groups. It is required on arrival and returned at the end of your stay, provided that no damage was done to the apartment.
Check in and Check out times:
The standard check-in time is at 14:00 - if we have guests leaving the apartment the same day you arrive, we need some time to get the apartment ready for you after they check out. However you can come directly to the apartment and leave your luggage with us until you can check in the apartment.
If the apartment will be free the night before your arrival, you could check in as soon as you arrive in Prague, at no extra charge.
The standard check-out time is at 11:00. This is to have time to prepare the apartment for the next guest arriving on the same day. However you can leave your luggage with us until you need to leave for the airport.
If we do not have guests arriving on the day of your departure, you could remain in the apartment longer. We can only confirm early check in or late check out one or two days before.
Cancellation Policy:
We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and we are notified of cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation.
There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us more than 7 days before arrival, and the deposit paid at the time of the booking will be returned to you. If you notify us up to 4 days before arrival the deposit is retained as cancellation charge. In case of no show or cancellation 4 days or less before arrival, the cancellation charge is 50% from the total cost of accommodation. For 1 night bookings, the cancellation charge 4 days or less before arrival is 100% of the total cost of accommodation.
Please note that in the event of sickness or change of flights on last minute the cancellation cost may be covered by your travel insurance (you should check the conditions of your travel insurance for more details).
During top season (Christmas, New Year and Easter) there is a special cancellation policy. If you cancel your stay more than 14 days in advance, there is no cancellation fee; if you cancel your stay less than 14 days in advance, the cancellation fee is 50 % of total cost of accommodation.
In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit. In practice we rarely had this situation, like for instance if the plumbing or electric installations have a problem that cannot be fixed right away; in this case our obligation is to provide you with alternative arrangements.
