The Podskalska studio apartment is situated in an excellent central location of Prague Historic Centre in Prague 2 New Town, next to the River Vltava. The ground floor apartment has sleeping accommodation for up to four people which consists in a spacious room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The apartment has a satellite TV with 60 channels, hi-fi stereo, safe, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, electric oven, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. The bathroom also has a corner bath.
The sleeping arrangements that we offer at the apartment consist in a double bed and a double sofa bed.
The apartment is within 5 minutes walk from the "Dancing Building", 10 minutes walk from the National Theatre, and 13 minutes walk from Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. There is no need to use public transportation to get to the touristic attractions in the centre of Prague, however for those who prefer to explore other parts of the city there are several metro and tram stops very close to the apartment: the nearest metro station, Karlovo namesti is only 1minute away and the nearest tram stop, Paladskeho namesti only 2 minutes away. Trams that stop here are numbers 3, 4,10,14,16,21 and for the night service 52 and 54. There is also car parking available outside the apartment or there is a garage 3 minutes away.

Payment:
A 20% deposit is required at the time of the booking. The payment of remaining balance can be done on arrival in cash, in Czech Koruni.
Cancellation Policy:
We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and we are notified of cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation.
There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us more than 7 days before arrival, and the deposit paid at the time of the booking will be returned to you. If you notify us up to 4 days before arrival the deposit is retained as cancellation charge. In case of no show or cancellation 4 days or less before arrival, the cancellation charge is 50% from the total cost of accommodation. For 1 night bookings, the cancellation charge 4 days or less before arrival is 100% of the total cost of accommodation.
Please note that in the event of sickness or change of flights on last minute the cancellation cost may be covered by your travel insurance (you should check the conditions of your travel insurance for more details).
During top season (Christmas, New Year and Easter) there is a special cancellation policy. If you cancel your stay more than 14 days in advance, there is no cancellation fee; if you cancel your stay less than 14 days in advance, the cancellation fee is 50 % of total cost of accommodation.
In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit. In practice we rarely had this situation, like for instance if the plumbing or electric installations have a problem that cannot be fixed right away; in this case our obligation is to provide you with alternative arrangements.
