This is one of the 10 apartments of 1 and 2 bedrooms in the same building, walking distance from the historical center. All apartments have high speed internet and a notebook can be lent on request. Guarded parking is available in the building at only 10 euros a day. For larger groups 2 or more apartments can be rented together.
The location is good, at about 15 minutes walk from the Powder Gate and the Old Town. The position of the apartment, although close to the centre, keeps the rate lower when the quality of the accommodation is the same or higher.
Krasova Apartment 401 is a good quality one bedroom apartment with living room which can accommodate up to 6 persons comfortably. It is a newly reconstructed and furnished apartment with 2 separate rooms (which has a bedroom with double bed), SAT TV and pull out sofa which can accommodate 2 more persons. In the second room there are 2 single beds, dining area and fully equipped kitchenette. The bathroom is modern and has a bath tub with shower unit.
For those who prefer not to walk, the apartment is very well connected to the historical centre by tram and bus; there are stops at only a couple of minutes from the building. By tram no. 9 it is only 3 stops from the Wenceslas square, by the tram no.5 only 3 stops from the Old town square. The trams run very well so they will take you at your destination within minutes. The building is next to the Riegrovy Sady Park, where you can spend a relaxed afternoon at its beer garden, to take your kids to its large playground.
Zizkov is a cadastral district of Prague, Czech Republic. Most of Zizkov lies in the municipal and administrative district of Prague 3. Prior to 1922, Zizkov was an independent city.
The district is named after Hussite leader Jan Zizkov. It was historically a working-class district, and was sometimes referred to as "red Zizkov", because so many of its inhabitants were members of the Communist party.
Before World War II, Zizkov had a reputation as a rough neighborhood. This reputation spread across the whole former Czechoslovakia and it was still possible to trace it amongst the people many decades later. The Zizkovians were very proud of their "bad" reputation and up to this day they tend to refer to their neighborhood as " Zizkov republic". This sentiment was very often a source of inspiration for novelists or film makers.
Today, Zizkov is undergoing a mini-urban renewal, with many older buildings being reconstructed and restored. Due to its specific atmosphere, Zizkov became the Bohemian part of Prague, with many artists living or performing there.

The apartments we excellent and about 15 minute walk from the centre. This is what we wanted and the prices were cheaper. There were some local bars on the same street which was a bonus. The service we got from booking to arrival was brilliant

Payment:
The payment of remaining balance can be done on arrival in cash (directly in euros or in CZK) or by credit card. There is no extra charge for processing payments by credit card.
Payment on arrival can be done directly to the driver (in case you have booked pick-up from the airport or train station with us) or to directly to us (in case you do not wish to reserve taxi with us we will meet you at the apartment).
For late arrivals from 19:00 to 23:00PM, when the office is closed, we will leave the keys for you at the Sklep restaurant in the same building (if you do not wish to book transfer with us).
Please note: On arrival we require a security deposit of 150 euros, refundable at the end of your stay.
Cancellation Policy:
We cannot be held responsible for bad weather, illness, changes in travel plans or travel delays. In the case that confirmed booking had been made and we are notified of cancellation less than 7 days before the scheduled arrival, we unfortunately have to demand partial compensation.
There are no charges for cancellation if you notify us more than 7 days before arrival, and the deposit paid at the time of the booking will be returned to you. If you notify us up to 4 days before arrival the deposit is retained as cancellation charge. In case of no show or cancellation 4 days or less before arrival, the cancellation charge is 50% from the total cost of accommodation. For 1 night bookings, the cancellation charge 4 days or less before arrival is 100% of the total cost of accommodation.
Please note that in the event of sickness or change of flights on last minute the cancellation cost may be covered by your travel insurance (you should check the conditions of your travel insurance for more details).
During top season (Christmas, New Year and Easter) there is a special cancellation policy. If you cancel your stay more than 14 days in advance, there is no cancellation fee; if you cancel your stay less than 14 days in advance, the cancellation fee is 50 % of total cost of accommodation.
In absolute necessity, we reserve the right to change the apartment for an equivalent or better unit. In practice we rarely had this situation, like for instance if the plumbing or electric installations have a problem that cannot be fixed right away; in this case our obligation is to provide you with alternative arrangements.
